Saint-Bon-Tarentaise is a former community in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. On January 1, 2017, it was merged into a new commune of Courchevel. Like Saint-Bon-Tarentaise itself, the commune also included four villages, which together make up the Courchevel ski resort.
Courchevel - a popular ski resort in the French Alps, located in the center of the Tarentaise Valley. It is part of the “Three Valleys” ski area. Four stations of the resort are located at altitudes of 1300, 1550, 1650 and 1750 meters above sea level. The ski season lasts from late November to early May.
