Hannover is the administrative center of Lower Saxony in Germany. Many industrial fairs are held in the city, including the annual exhibition CeBIT. In the Old Town reconstructed after the Second World War, among the half-timbered houses there are the Gothic Red Church brick church and the Old Town Hall. From the dome of the ornate New Town Hall you can see the city. In the town hall are stored four models of the city, depicting different historical periods. Not far from the center of Hanover are the gardens of Herrenhausen, founded in the XVII century. The population of the city is 530 000 people.
