Trondheim is a city in central Norway, located on the banks of the Trondheim fjord. In the city there is a Gothic Nidaros Cathedral of the 11th century, notable for its richly decorated rosette window and exquisitely decorated western facade. Not far from it, in the Museum of the Archbishop's Palace, archaeological finds and sculptures, including gargoyles, formerly located on the walls of the cathedral, are kept. The Ringwe Museum is a museum of musical instruments that occupies the buildings of the manor and barn. The population of Trondheim is 300 thousand people.
