Jeju is a city on Jeju Island and the capital of the South Korean province of Jeju. At the Museum of Popular Art and Natural History in the Park of Sinsan, you can visit exhibitions devoted to the local marine fauna. The Confucian school keeps ancient tablets of ancestors and conducts lessons of calligraphy. The Yongduam Haesu Spa Land Recreation and Spa Center with sea-water saunas is located on the coast. Nearby is the dragon-shaped Yonduam rock, near which divers catch mollusks using ancient methods. The population of the city is 260,000 people.
