Speicherstadt is the world's largest warehouse area, in which all the buildings are erected on deep wooden foundations, in this case, on oak logs. Located in the harbor of Hamburg; the total length is 1.5 km. Its construction began in 1883 and was completed in 1927. Chilehouse is an eleven-story warehouse building for goods imported from Chile in the southeastern part of Hamburg. This building was built in 1922-1924 according to the project of the German architect Fritz Heger and is one of the most significant monuments of expressionism in world architecture.
