In the center of the square on the car ring formed by the intersection of Gagarin Avenue and Zaporizhia Highway, the Memorial "Dnepropetrovsk - Space Age of Ukraine" is located.
The memorial is dedicated to the Ukrainian cosmonautics. The solemn discovery occurred in 2003. Metal elements of the memorial were manufactured at the Babushkin factory.
Dnepropetrovsk is considered the Space Capital of Ukraine, therefore there are so many attractions in the city related to this industry.
