Romaniv is an urban-type settlement on Ukraine, the center of the Romanivsky district of the Zhytomyr region. From 1933 to 2003 was called Dzerzhinsk. The largest urban-type settlement after Cherniakhov in the Zhytomyr region. The population of the village is seven and a half thousand people.
