Cambridge is a city on the River Kam in the eastern part of England. It houses the prestigious Cambridge University, founded in 1209. The most famous colleges of the university are King's College, famous for its choir and high chapel in the Gothic style, Trinity College founded by Henry VIII, and St. John's College, in whose territory the Great Gate, built in the 16th century, is located. In Cambridge are museums of archeology and anthropology, polar research, the history of science and zoology. The population is small and amounts to 120 thousand people.
